Canyon de Chelly, nestled in northeastern Arizona, is a site of profound historical and cultural significance, particularly for the Navajo Nation. This canyon, encompassing approximately 84,000 acres within the Navajo Nation, is unique in its continuous habitation for nearly 5,000 years by various Indigenous cultures, including the Ancestral Puebloans and the Navajo.
